Daily Earnings begin to Increase...finally!

I haven't been updating my daily earnings much this past month. They were pretty stagnant until a few articles started getting 1000+ hits. Here's the latest numbers:

7/14, $8.45/13=.65 avg. per day
7/15, $8.86/14=.63
7/16, $9.30/15=.62

This is my new rut, but at least it is getting me closer to my initial goal of earning $1/day publishing on Triond.

Improve Vocabulary article nearing 3000 hits!

From one day to the next, you never know what articles are going to go wacky on Triond. Today's hot one is "Seven Easy Ways to Improve Your Vocabulary Without Even Trying." By the end of tonight, it'll be well over 3000 hits. I first noticed the activity at 2:40 this afternoon and at that time there were 1613 views. Two hours later, there were over 2100 and another two hours later it was up to 2800. As I type this now, there are 3,047...haha...that was fast, and it isn't even 7 p.m.

Some days I think I won't reach my initial goal of earning $1/day on Triond. Days like today, I think it may happen after all.

Way of Wealth Article gets 1000+ hits today!

My article on Way of Wealth by Ben Franklin has hit the top spot on Gomestic personal finance articles. Wow! What a crazy day. Two hundred become 500, then 1000, now it is sitting at 1,144. I am completely stoked about the views and I'm sure the earnings tomorrow will be significantly more than the current .30/day increase it's been lately.

Along with having the article in the top spot, my name is also in the right sidebar listing popular personal finance writers. Very cool.

50 Articles Posted!

My current number of published articles with Triond has reached the big Five-Oh. With 50 articles, I'm getting lots of views but I'm still not near my initial goal of $1/day publishing with Triond. I can see that it can be done -- that you can make money on articles month after month, but getting started has been painfully slow.

I'll have another article or two up this weekend.

June 2008 Total Earnings

For June, my total earnings is $7.90. OK, not great but at least it's a start. It is a long way short of my initial goal of earning $1/day on Triond. For the month of June, that averages to .26/day. I'm gathering that I need to write more. I tell ya, a full time summer job really cuts into my ability to write five articles a day! Ha.

Wednesday's earnings post

Another .29 increase, so my total is now $6.83. Not going to change the average...

I now have 45 articles published on Triond. Since I am making barely .30/day right now with that many, it would seem reasonable that in order to make my initial goal of $1/day on Triond I would need to have 135 articles published. My article in George W. Bush is getting loads of hits, however it isn't making a lot of money, so that's something to be aware of.

Tuesday's earnings post

My earnings today are now at $6.54, a .29 increase from yesterday. My average for the month is now: .28/day. Talk about a rut. Well, it would probably help if I would write a bit more. Hmm. Might give that a try soon.

Monday's earnings posted

My new total today is $6.25, an increase of .22 from yesterday. My average is now .28/day. I'm not making great progress on my initial goal of earning $1/day publishing with Triond, but at least the numbers are somewhat consistent in spite of the fact I haven't written much new content. I did have a new piece published today, which makes two for the last two weeks...or something like that.

Sunday's earnings posted

My increase today was only .20, so I'm up to $6.03. That takes my average to .29/day for the past 21 days.

On the up side, I have one new article posted that I wrote yesterday on real estate investment, and I have one submitted for today on the funny sayings of George W. Bush that should go live tomorrow. Maybe those will help the numbers move upward.

Today's earnings update is $5.83, a .29 increase from the day prior. For the average, that comes to .29/day for the previous 20 days.

Today's earnings is at $5.54, for an average of .29/day for the month. That isn't much and I'm not seeing any real increases. Of course, I still haven't writting anything new in nearly a week, so I shouldn't complain much.

Twenty-eight cents a day...

Here's the box scores for the past few days...

Tuesday was $4.75, Wed. was $5.02 and Thursday, today, was $5.36. My average for yesterday was .28/day and today was .28/day also. I guess that's not so bad since I haven't written anything new for nearly a week now.

However, it's still a long ways off from my initial goal of earning $1/day from Triond.

Feeling a rut

Today my earnings went from $4.54 to $4.75... a .21 cent increase. So...that's .30 average for the 16 days previous. Since I haven't been writing much this week, it'll be interesting to see if this increase amount stays steady.

A whole twenty cents

Not a big increase from yesterday, only .20, from $4.34 to $4.54. That makes the average: .30/day for the past 15 days. Still barely a third of the way there to my initial goal of earning $1/day publishing on Triond.

I have no new articles to publish, so we'll see if the current offerings can keep the total rising or if they are flattening.

Sunday's total...

A new day, a new total. This morning my total earnings on Triond was $4.34, up .33 from yesterday. For the month (14 days prior), that averages to .31/day. I'm roughly a third of the way to my initial goal of earning $1/day on Triond.

I did get my deposit into my paypal account yesterday for last month's earnings of .68. Woo-hoo.

A second increase today...?

I checked my earnings here at 5:30 p.m. and it's up to 4.01. That's odd. It doesn't usually change during the day. That averages to .31/day. Nicer than the other. It comes to a .25 increase from yesterday. Much better.

A lowered increase for today

My increase on Triond overnight was only .17, which doesn't look good for the weekends which seem to be generally slower than weekdays. Hmm. The average now for 13 days is .30. I've make progress, but I still have a long way to go to reach my initial goal of $1/day with Triond.

Another day, a few more cents...

My total this a.m. was $3.67...so another .37. or for the 12 days prior an average of .31/day. I have a ways to get to get to my initial goal of earning $1/day publishing with Triond. At least it is increasing steadily. I didn't get anything written yesterday...too tired after starting a summer job full time. Today was less taxing, so I'm hoping to get into a grove and keep up the article counts. Right now, I'm at 41 articles published.

A better increase...

My increase today was .38, for a total of 3.30. That's .30 a day now for the 11 days in June. Today, however, I've done no writing. For good reason, but no new articles for Triond none the less.

More tomorrow. Maybe.

Only one piece today

Only one new article for the day to submit to Triond. Hard to write with tornado sirens going off all night. But I'm calling it a night and looking forward to seeing tomorrow's increase.
